Lesson Plan 2: Disappearing Forests

How does this fit into the curriculum? Pupils should be taught to ask geographical questions (1a); to express their own views about places and environments (1c); to use secondary sources of information (2d); to recognise how places have become the way they are and how they are changing (3c); to recognise changes in physical features (4b); to recognise changes in the environment (5a); and to recognise how the environment may be sustained and improved (5b).

Teachers' Note: Give your pupils a copy of the listed facts and ask them either to write the answers down or they can be discussed in the classroom.
